Axis Irons is owned and operated by me, Tim Orth. I have been part of the tattoo community for 14 years and have been operating Axis Irons for 3. In those three years I have built hundreds of machines that have been shipped across the globe. My tattoo work has been published in many countries around the world and has been received many awards. It is my intention that the machines I build reflect the same level of excellence.
There are three main types of machines I offer. I have my production liners, my production shaders, and my custom machines. The production machines are cast iron frames. The custom machines are cast bronze, brass, copper, or anything else I can get my hands on.
In trying to keep each machine unique, I still do a fair amount of customizing even to my production machines (unless you request otherwise). Every machine is different. Every machine is built to order.

BRONZE BUILDS
These quarter inch thick bronze mini's were designed so that I could build some higher end machines and play around with new materials and ideas. Every frame is polished. Some I will leave natural bronze, some will be patenaed. There are lots of exotic wood, antler, and shell overlays. There is gold leaf work, engraving, the works. I hope to make these machines just as much of a work of art as the tattoos that they will produce.
