Tim Love has been a professional guitarist since 2002. Since then, he has played and recorded all over the U.K, Europe and the Middle East. He has worked with BBC, P&O cruises and written and recorded music for television and radio and had nationwide airplay with 'The Great Statesmen'. Tim is experienced in playing a range of venues from Camden's Barfly to London's Hyde Park (BBC PROMS in the Park).He has been involved with many projects and has had the privilege of working and playing with:The Red Hot Chili PeppersMadnessChesney HawkesAlabama 3A1Thomas JulesRick Parfit Jnr Claire NicolsonOdette AlbaniHe divides most of his time between playing with top UK tribute acts such asOasish, Stereotonics, and One Step Behind. He teaches all levels of guitar either from his home in London or at Newbury's 'Let's play rock' rock school.Tim is available for hire as a solo singer/guitarist. Tim has been teaching guitar for nearly 10 years both privately and in schools. He teaches a wide age range, some as young as 3, and covers all abilities and styles.Tim specialises in rock, blues, pop, metal and acoustic guitar, improvisation, music theory and beginner jazz guitar.Tim also has a unique approach to helping guitarists out of their 'musical ruts' which he calls 'Unlocking the neck' a technique he learned from tutor Mike Goodman (ACM).'When students first start to unlock the guitar neck, they're amazed at how quickly they're able to move around the guitar without the need for scale shapes and pentatonic positions'If you're interested in learning the guitar or would like to book lessons please visit the contacts page.
