PROOFREADING (Basic) involves the identification and correction of typographical errors, punctuation errors and misspellings. COPYEDITING (Intermediate) invovles grammar, word usage, capitalization, word breaks, tone, and format. SUBSTANTIVE EDITING (Intermediate to heavy) seeks to achieve clarity of subject, logic, and consistency. Work is analyzed for structure and syntax.

This is determined by a sample edit of 1-5 pages which allows you, the author, to get a feel for my editing style and to determine a quote as well as editor/author compatibility.
