Why do I need help filing my claim?
1. Filing a claim requires a written, itemized statement of your
losses. You might not realize the extent of your damage and
the Insurance company is NOT obligated to tell you.
2. Filing a claim is tedious and time consuming. The Public
Adjuster can take this burden off your shoulders.
3. You are at the mercy of the insurance company. Keep in
mind, is someone untrained in handling claims, you will be
dealing with insurance "professionals" interested in
minimizing the claim. A Licensed Public Adjuster knows
exactly what it costs to repair the damage, he will realize
damage that the untrained eye will not. A Public Adjuster is
your best defense to insure you get the highest settlement for all
your insurance claims.
Can I re-open my claim if I feel I was under compensated?
You can not re-open your claim but a Public Adjuster can. As long as the claim was under a year ago the claim can be re-opened and renegotiations can start with your insurance company toward a higher settlement. It is always best to call a Public Adjuster from the very beginning because after you have been paid it becomes a bit more difficult to negotiate with the insurance company.
How is a Public Adjuster Compensated?
A Public Adjusters compensation is based on a percentage of your total claim that is paid to you. The Public Adjusters fees are more than covered by the larger settlement he or she has obtained for you. If there was no settlement, there is no fee to you at all!
DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT IS COVERED BY YOUR HOME OWNERS INSURANCE POLICY?
Policy Review
Policy Evaluation:
What you do not know about your policy could be costing you thousands of dollars! Most people do not understand or never have tried to read their insurance policy.
In fact, I'll let you in on a little secret, the insurance companies want to keep you "The Homeowner" in the dark about your coverage. They also know that if you understood your policy, you might be able to identify existing damage in your home that is/would be covered under your homeowners insurance policy.
I don't have to tell you that insurance companies don't always do the right thing, so I am here to make sure the insurance company treats you fairly and you know all the rights as a homeowner.
The Policy Evaluation will offer you the following benefits:
Educate you on how an insurance policy provides coverage. Determine coverages and limitations. Educate you on the insurance process. Ensure policy conditions are met. Educate on the pitfalls of handling your own claim and alling the insurer directly. Show you how I can provide a valuable service. The state of New Jersey knows that the homeowners need representation, so Public Adjusters are Licensed and Bonded through the department of Banking and Insurance to serve you, not the insurance company.
Four questions you should know the answer to immediately. If not, you need a Complimentary Policy Review:
What type of policy do I have? a) HO1 B) HO2 or C) HO3 Do I have ACV or RCV coverage? How many deductibles are actually on my policy? How much coverage do I really have? Home Inspection DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY MAKING ANOTHER REPAIR OR RENOVATION TO YOUR HOME WITHOUT THIS INSPECTION!!!
Our home inspection is no ordinary inspection. Our representatives have the expertise, experience and training to spot problems that most home and business owners did not even know existed.
A representative will look at the exterior of the building, looking for potential problems along the roof-line and exterior walls. They will go room to room inside the dwelling inspecting closets, walls, flooring, and cabinetry.
Allow us to advise and assist you. Why should you wait to save the money or take out a loan to fix it if it? It may be covered by your policy, even if it happened months ago!
This whole process only takes about 30 minutes and you would learn a great deal about your rights as a homeowner. I am sure that you will find the information extremely valuable and will want me to share this information with your family and friends.

Metro Public Adjustment, Inc. is actively changing this by telling the public who we are and what we do for homeowners and business owners. You do not need to be suffering from property damage to benefit from the services of a Public Adjuster.
