Solar is the Latin word for sun and is a powerful source of energy. It’s also renewable. Solar energy is acquired from sun rays and is collected by solar panels and converted into energy. There are two main types of energy, they’re passive and active solar energy. Passive solar energy is when the energy is used as is. Active solar energy is when solar energy is collected and converted in to usable energy.
Solar power is found in the sky, coming from the sun. It is recovered by solar panels. It only works as long as there’s sunlight. In solar panels, there are solar cells, and when exposed to sunlight, they do the job of converting the sunlight directly to electricity. In the PN-Junction Diodes, two semiconductors are put together with electrons on opposite sides and when sunlight hits it, the electrons move from one side to the other creating the electricity we use to power light.
