Although our classic motorbikes are antics, they all are perfectly maintained and monitored to guarantee your comfort and safety.

Our services

Our rates
Our tours last between one and four hours, they are charged per motorbike
4 hours tour: 1,100 CNY* for the 1st passenger; 750 CNY for the 2nd passenger.
2 hours tour: 850 CNY for the 1st passenger; 500 CNY for the 2nd passenger.
1 hour tour: 700 CNY for one or two passengers.
We recommend the 4 hours tour as they represent 80% of our bookings.
OPTIONS
-Add a small bottle of Italian Champagne to spice up your tour: 150CNY
-Book our videocamera to film your tour, we will edit it and post it online

How we are Environmental Friendly
Even though we take great care of our sidecar motorbikes to minimize our emissions of CO2, we still pollute.
That's why we have chosen to team up with Action Carbone which is a non-profit association pushing companies and individuals to act against climate change by the reduction and offsetting of their greenhouse gases.
Every year, we buy back our emissions of carbon and fund a project overviewed by Action Carbon in Ghizhou Province-China developing Biogas plants (for more info on the project, click here).
You can also take action and make a donation through our company whenever you use our services.

The sideways adventure began in 2006, in Beijing thanks to Beijing Sideways.
Shanghai Sideways was created in 2008 with the aim to show the city we love from the inside.

Discover Shanghai on a vintage 1930's sidecar motorbike
The motorbikes used for our tours are Changjiang 750cc which are replicas of the 1930's WWII BMW's.
At the end of WWII, the BMW factory was in moved fdrom Eastern Germany to Siberia and became Ural; during the 1950's, the technology was transfered to China under the name of Changjiang, the mechanic has hardly been modified in the past 50 years which makes our bikles unique and the most appropriate time machine to discover an old Shanghai, a changing Shanghai, a new Shanghai
