Swamp Style Laser Tag
The Swamp summer camp located just 30 minutes south of Athens, Georgia is excited to announce that we are now offering laser tag games to our services.
Our games use leading edge technology mixed with the classic game of tag to create a truly unique fast-action, highly-addictive experience. Our custom made laser taggers are 100% safe, emitting a harmless infrared beam much like your TV remote. Laser tag is quickly gaining popularity with players of all ages, and is safer than projectile-based pursuit games such paintball or airsoft. It also features much greater ranges and accuracy than paintball or airsoft. No pain. No mess. No projectiles!
We are available for birthday parties, youth groups, corporate groups and private groups.
Having a fund raising event? Let us help you raise money!
We may not be the first laser tag game site in Georgia but we are striving to be the most exciting!!

Each team member is equipped with a infrared tagger with red dot scopes and sensor headgear. Laser taggers are great fun for the casual player and our structured strategy missions are designed to encourage team work, leadership skills and effective communication., combined with role-play and problem-solving, guaranteeing an experience unlike any other.
Missions like Capture the Flag, VIP, Convoy, Assassins, Survivor, Bounty Hunters…..just to name a few!
We have a variety of missions for every level player and unlike computer games, no mission ever plays the same twice. Referees can quickly reconfigure all taggers for each game remotely. This saves time between games so that players spend more time on the field, and it allows players to experience a wide variety of game types. During one game, your tagger may be configured as a single-shot "sniper" rifle, and during the next game it may be a machinegun or a sci-fi laser blaster. Our taggers have 500+ ft range in broad daylight! We have day and night missions, indoors or outdoor games. So we are never rained out.
Q. Does it hurt when you get "hit"?
A. No, the system uses harmless infrared technology to deliver the "hit", which causes your sensors to light up and your laser unit to emit a sound,
Q. Can anybody play?
A. Unfortunately not everyone is old enough to enjoy the activity of outdoor laser tag. The game is open to anyone that is 7 years old and above, male or female, fit or unfit, everyone will find a way to be comfortable playing. You might be the fast moving offensive type or you might be the stealth defensive player that prevents the other team from stealing your teams flag.
Q. What should I wear to play?
A. Players should wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty. All players should wear sneakers, or comfortable hiking footwear. Open toed shoes or sandals are NOT allowed on the field of play. We also recommend long pants versus shorts to prevent scratches from bushes.
Q. Can I bring outside food or beverages?
A. You can bring bottled water, if you would like, but we do not allow any form of juice boxes (with the plastic straws) or alcohol of any kind. As far as food is concerned, we only allow outside birthday cakes and cupcakes. Please note: we do have refrigeration for ice cream cakes.
Q. When can I play?
A. You can play anytime you get 10 or more people together by emailing us or calling Erwin at (706) 614-8087 to schedule the field.
Q. Is Laser Tag like paintball or indoor laser tag?
A. It has elements of both. It's an outdoor combat game like paintball, however it uses technology that is similar to indoor
laser tag. The unique part of Laser Tag is the accuracy range and the anti-cheating technology.
Q: How long is the field time?
A: Your field time is for 2 hours, unless additional time is purchased, and is broken up into missions that last approximately 15 minutes each
Q. Do you play lazer tag if it is raining?
A: We will move the games inside. We have a 120’ x 40’ rec. room and a 75 x 75 pavilion. Our sound system and fog machine make this an intense game!
Q. What do we need to bring when we come out to play?
A. Players will need a signed waiver form and appropriate clothing. We do take water breaks as needed so water bottles are also encouraged.
Q. How do you play?
A: Upon arrival at camp, each player is issued a tagger, assigned to a team and given a mission brief, Teams decide how best to achieve their assigned objectives and the session begins. Get ready to rock!! We play on several different courses with natural protection and/or man made bunkers.
Q: Are there any other costs other then the session fee?
A: No! At the start of your game, we will load up your tagger with enough lives to get you through your mission game - if you are clever enough not to get "tagged" to many times by the other team. Unlike paint ball where one hit and you are out.
