Patient calls the office to inquire about services.
Insurance details are taken, and benefits are checked by the office manager.
Patients are informed of their benefits.
Speech and language evaluation is scheduled.
Patient comes into the office for an evaluation.
Therapy recommendations are made at the time of the evaluation.
Evaluation report is completed and sent to the client within one to two weeks.
If a speech and language delay or disorder is diagnosed, the patient is scheduled for therapy. Therapy is generally recommended in the amount of one or two sessions per week.
* Depending on the insurance, authorization may need to be obtained before therapy can begin.
