I am a photographer who is facinated with capturing images of subjects that speak with shape, line, depth, composition and perception. Whether photographing still objects, people, aircraft, or landscapes, I am continually in search of opportunities to photograph and present photographic art that will "change the way you look at things".

The de Havilland Venom is probably the best fighter-bomber in its class in the world. This came from a statement given out by NATO HQ in 1958, and so was to prove, for the Venom flew more operational missions than any other post-war type. Sporting sleek wings and a twin-boom empennage, this unique aircraft displayed comic book-like styling. Powered by the Ghost engine, the Venom received the upper hand in post-war missions.
Beginning in the 1950s, the Venom was used prolifically in Switzerland. The nose art tagged her as Swiss Miss, as this Venom, FB.50 (J-1527) saw its birth in the Swiss Air Force in 1955. The photos depicted left show Swiss Miss at the 2006 EAA Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-in with Mark Johnson at the controls. Unfortunately, Swiss Miss suffered a fiery belly landing in the summer of 2008. Of only a handfull left in the world, her historic wreckage will now be resurrected and brought back to life in the form of art.
