About Us
The Pentecostals of Corinth: We are a Jesus Name Apostolic church established upon the principles held in the Bible, namely the book of Acts chapter 2 experience. We believe in repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, being fully immerssed, for the remission of sin, and in the gift of the Holy Ghost with the intial sign of speaking in tongues.Church History:The first service on January 14, 2001 in Corinth Elementary School, where service was held for 2 ½ years. During this time, 3 acres of property located at 1501 F.M. 2181 was purchased. On September 5, 2003 approximately 300 skilled labores took part in the Church-in-a-Day program and built the new sanctuary. The first service in this new, beautiful building was on September 7, 2003. In November 2003, expansion took place and walls were knocked out to facilitate a larger seating capacity. In the fall of 2004, a house for the youth's activities was built. On April 10, 2006, 1.5 acres behind the current facility was purchased. In 2010 we started a "Paid in Full" project which is designed for the next phase of expansion. Become part of a church that growing and culturally diverse!
