Our Story
Opening our doors in early fall 2007, The Outfitter has been doing our best to serve the outdoor lifestyle needs of the Hattiesburg area. While we have experienced our fair share of moves over the last three years, the store has now found its permanent home on the north end of Turtle Creek Mall.
Our brand lineup has changed quite a bit since the beginning, but has remained true to our outdoor origins. Now featuring clothing, gear and accessories from The North Face, Patagonia, and KAVU. We maintain a vast selection of Costa Del Mar sunglasses and are proud to be a Premium Wave Dealer. We stock the Wave 400 and Wave 580 glasses at all times. Our outdoor gear collection is second to none and features gear from Jetboil, MSR, Mountain Hardwear, Benchmade, Petzel, Surefire, ENO Hammocks, Gregory, Thermarest, and Osprey.
We offer the largest selection of Chaco sandals and KEEN footwear in the area. You can also check out our trail running collection from Salomon and The North Face.
Fall is officially here and The Outfitter is your destination for jackets, casual apparel, footwear, and accessories to get you thru the cooler months here in South Mississippi.
