BUCK50ENT was started in 2004 by “Gee-Dubs” after a heavy construction accident left him with a scar of roughly 150 stitches, or a “buck 50” on his lower neck.
Feeling like he hadn’t left his mark in life yet, he decided to form an independent record label called Buck 50 Entertainment out of Camden, New Jersey. The trademark for the label is ransom notes, which are all handmade and handed out by Gee-dubs.
Fed up with kids hanging out with nothing to do, no ambitions, Dubs decided to start Operation: Give-back, a non-profit organization for high risk children, ex-felons, and anyone who want to turn their life around, by teaching them the heavy concrete construction and demolition trade.
!The Buck50ent record label is actively putting Camden on the hip-hop map! This multimedia entertainment company is responsible for the production, songwriting, artist development, street team, ideals, marketing, and promotion.

Grew up on the streets of camden N.J.! Street smart was always a must where I grew up at, you either ride or get rode on out here. Started gettin money at 13 and rapping at 14. I was giving the name Murk in my later years, it describing my style and how I would Murk/destroy other rappers. Made my first couple of tracks at 15 in a house studio produced by Flames. As a youngin battle rapping was what I did, i would preform in others many diffrent circles and showcase my talent, and it was rarely a time I didn't come out on top. I hit my first real studio at 16, recording "Murk yall niggas" with Mikey High for his "Higher Learning" cd mixtape. I then found my way into a group, more like a Family called Blakmask Entertainment. With them I was featured on the mixtape "GO HARD OR GO HOME" hosted by philly's own T-Money by the time I was 17. I was rapping for fun and at first it was a hobby, it is a pasion and a love for me but when times go rough, I put it to the side and had to focus on getting this money. Running in the streets also was a love of mine.(but not now) I was taught a lot of things, seen a lot of things other people could only dream of! I hooked up with G DUBS (CEO of Buck50ent) when I was also around 16, a lot was discussed but never persued cuse I put the streets before music. I remember gettin a call from G DUBS tellin me now was our time and it was time to really show what I can do! Since 09 i have

Born & raised in one the hardest cities in the USA. Camden N.J. & seeing that this city was full of Cash, Murder and Drugs, it was it was very easy for a pretty and smart girl like myself to fall into the wrong crowd or in my case the wrong men! But for some of us, life is a struggle but, being a woman like me you gotta be street smart, book smart & and have a strong hustle. I had goals when I was a younger and still do but, to be honest having 3 sons that I love very much set me back. Because, of my sons I had no choice but, to be strong and push myself into being a fulltime college student. I will reach my goals and be where I want to be in life in a very short time. While at the same time enjoying life and modeling for BUCK50ENT. With consistancy, determination & focus we will make it to the top, also by providing a platform for all the talented youth in Camden N.j. We will drive home the point, "JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE FROM A BAD PLACE, DONT MAKE YOU A BAD PERSON!" Im living proof...
