Just now, the weather is turning colder here in Arkansas.  Once we go through days and weeks of colder, bleaker weather, how do we keep our spirits up?  The key is to surround yourself with bits of COLOR!  Replace some of your earth-tone sofa cushions with splashes of blues, oranges, greens, reds... something that "pops", just a little!  Wearing jeans and a black shirt?  Add a blingy belt, a red scarf, a multi-colored knit cap, or glittery Toms.  You don't need a lot, just a little to put a little spring in your step.  Same with your purse accessories... you don't need a jewel-toned color for winter, just a little pastel to bring out the colors of winter - like pink, blue or green!  Oh and if your husband appears a littel BLAND to you - replace his plain socks in the drawer with some of color.  Might not look good, but it would be worth the laugh! :)
