The British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) is the UKs national organisation for rating Energy Efficient Windows. The BFRC is also recognised within the building regulations as a method to show compliance for replacement windows installation.
Window Energy Ratings use a consumer-friendly traffic-light A-G ratings guide similar to that used on white goods (such as fridges freezers washing machines etc) The ratings label can be used by the consumer to make a more informed decisions about the energy efficiency of the windows they are looking to purchase.
