The Last Puff is a Grunge/ Stoner/ Psychedelic Rock band from New Delhi, India.The band name 'The Last Puff' came in their heads while smoking the last puff of their cigarettes.Now the name might create a confusion in ur heads, you can take it either as -- This is my last puff, i am not gonna smoke anymore.Or you can take it the other way round -- this is my last puff, gimme some more fuckin cigarettes. The same is with their music.. If one song is about some serious shit, then the other might be filled with senseless crap !The band is:Ankit Mishra on Vox n Guitar,Kushagra Shrivastav on Bass Guitar,Kshitiz Chaudhary on Drums.All the band members are inspired individually by certain various genres, like the guy on the Vocals and Guitaris more into Grunge, Psychedelic, Jazz, Goth and all other weird genres giving an unexpected raw touch to their music. The Bass Guitarist is more into melodic metal, giving a heavy touch to the band's sound. The band's drummer is into Thrash and Speed Metal giving a dynamic and speedy touch to the rhythm.
NewS Judged the Annual Rock band competition at Academy of Business and Engineering Sciences, Noida, India in Nov' 2010. Also played as the Headliner band for the event.Featured in the UK newspaper 'The Guardian' in Oct, 2010 along with the band's video featured in the newspaper's web archive.Featured with Indian Ocean in the UK music and arts magazine 'Arts Grants Finder' in Oct, 2010.Judged the Annual Rock band competition at Academy of Business and Engineering Sciences, Noida, India in Nov, 2010.Won the Rock Event in BBDIT Encore '09 in Nov, 2009.Won the Rock event in ABES IT It Ain't Noise '09 in Nov, 2009, Won the award for best Vocalist and Guitarist at ABES IT in Nov, 2009Opened for bands 'Parikrama' and 'Advaita' in Lady Shree Ram college, Delhi University in Dec, 2009.Placed 1st in SRM univ. annual rock competition among upcoming bands from all over India in Feb, 2010.Received a contract from Reliance ibibo.com to use our music for their advertisements.
