Jakusi
The latest addition to the label catalogue is the supreme talent that is JAKUSI. He makes edgy club
music, with a hint of euro dance and lashings of chart-worthy pop. His debut single DOWN IN THE DUNGEON is out at the end of August on all the major dance stores and mainstream download sites.
The track has barely been circulated and it has already received requests for playlist inclusion from
radio stations in the USA and UK. All we can say is that they have brilliant taste!
An exceptional songwriter and producer with wide appeal and proven staying power, we are excited at the potential of this release and what he is capable of in the future.
The label is proud to work with such a diverse group of musicians, all of them bringing their own sparks to The Fusion Room, Jakusi is no exception and we look forward to working with him now and in the future.

steve rowland
Steve Rowland is a new addition to The Fusion Room and will be working with us on a number of projects in the coming months.
A talented pianist, guitarist and songwriter, Steve writes music in many genres and has written for Mhyst in the past. He has been writing songs since the age of 12, and is keen on strong melodic lead lines and good musical sense. His musical tastes are varied and his influences very wide, he says "good music can emerge from any genre".
Steve has written tracks in folk rock, latin, ambient, funk, classical and many other styles. His versatility is welcome here, and his musical principle mirrors our own philosophies.
We are looking forward to much more from him musically, and his input in our project is much appreciated.
Gaetano Vella
Gaetano Vella is Maltese composer specializing in instrumental music and performer of his own compositions on keyboards. Currently he continues his studies in music harmony, counterpoint, composition, piano performance, schenkerian and traditional analysis and conducting at the University of Malta.
Gaetano's favourite composers include George Frederick Handel, Johann Sebastian Bach, Tommaso Albinoni, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Franz Liszt, Vangelis and other instrumental music composers.
He studied music since he was 7 years of age studying and playing the Clarinet and Saxophone with several local bands and currently playing electronic keyboards and Piano.
His artistic vision is to make a great success in instrumental music and show my capabilities in rich melodic invention especially in dramatic and romantic music with a different dimension in the new age music world.
The Fusion Room welcomes such a competent musician as Gaetano with the more reflective musical style.
Solar Truth
Solar Truth approached the label with a song called Innocent Dream. We listened to it and were
not sure of it's merit entirely. We asked them to "leave it with us" and we passed it on to Mhyst to rework.
The track was remixed, edited and reworked by Mhyst and was then released. To our delight and
amazement, the track immediately became our top seller.
Solar Truth certainly did not send us a goa trance tune, but the rework of that style was inspired. From idea to anthem overnight, we could not be happier.
Solar Truth are actually a three piece electro group from denmark. They never had a hit, a proper site or even a release until now. We are just grateful for all the social networking sites where we
can snap up these artists and where they can find us.

Marcel Van Eyck
In his own words...
Real Name : Marcel Mann
Born 1983 in Duisburg - Germany I quickly realized and established the passion for music and sounds. As a teenager I began to record radio shows about electronical music on old tapes and started to create own music mixes.
Later it was not enough to mix the music only. It started to grow in me to express myself in the music and so it began and should still continue ........
From The Fusion Room...
We first heard of Marcel after he submitted a demo to us. We heard about 15 seconds of the track
"Recognition" before everyone in the room stood up simultaneously and said "this is awesome", and we
knew we had to accept the track onto our catalogue. It's hard energetic rhythms, pulsating synths, the kind of trance that makes you physically emotional when it comes on in the club.
We are so glad to add yet another big talent to our artist list. We think he could be a huge success.
The Krakafaktri
The Krakafaktri is composer/producer/songwriter & (Digital-Dj Krakaman) Paul Allan from Hallett Cove in Adelaide South Australia. Since 2004 Paul has been forging his own brand of music from his humble but adequate home studio from influences ranging from early heavy metal up to the latest electro & drum 'n' bass sounds. As a musician for over 20 years and as a bassist/songwriter and founding (now ex-) member of Adelaide metal outfit "Skintilla", he also plays guitar, drums and has sung in one form or another in various covers bands. Now producing music in genres (but not limited to), Drum & Bass, Breaks, Electro, House & Trance. And with an "official" remix, a release on the 2007 Central Station compilation 'Fresh Air vol. 2',a few bootlegs here and there featured in UK drum&bass shows, and several tracks also on rotation with Adelaide's FreshFM 92.7 under his belt, confidence in his music is growing to a new level.
Paul was the winner of the Looperman June 2009 remix contest, and the label felt he was a strong contender from the start. His new angle on his genre is welcome here and we are pleased to have him on board.
