About Us The Fellowship of Faith Church is a growing, strong bible teaching church located in Huntsville Alabama. We are committed to making disciples and reaching and impacting North Alabama through teaching the word of God. At the Fellowship of Faith Church, we strive to create an atmosphere of worship; communicate an attitude to work and to witness; and cultivate an appetite for the word!We are striving to fulfill the great commission. History In 1996, God gave Pastor Troy Lashon Garner a vision to plant a church in Huntsville, Alabama. This God given vision officially began November 2, 2003 at the Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama _ 8a.m. To God be the glory, 96 persons were in attendance at the first service. On November 7, 2004, our first anniversary, The Fellowship of Faith Church relocated to the Baptist Student Center on the campus of UAH. On November 14, 2004 TFOFC ordained 7 Men to the Deacons Ministry at the Highlands Baptist Church. In 2005, by faith a television ministry was started to reach North Alabama with the gospel. On Wednesday, February 9, 2005, GOD blessed us to purchase 2117 Oakwood Ave. We dedicated the facility on March 6, 2004.In October 2005, TFOFC was officially accepted as a member of the Madison Baptist Association apart of the Southern Baptist Convention. In 2006 we completed a major renovation project of our facility. We also adapted a new theme; Jesus is exalted & the Word is explained! On August 6, 2006, we licensed our first minister, Sis. Monica Cosby. To maintain the health of the church we established a better structure by instituting an Elders ministry and ordaining more new Deacons. We also appointed ministry leaders to lead the various ministries.In 2007 we received over 100 new members. We continued improving our facilities by installing by paving the parking lot and installing a projector and screens in the sanctuary to enhance our worship. We also purchased a new van.In March 2008 we began a second service _ 11:15am to accommodate the phenomenal growth.TFOFC continues to experience phenomenal growth numerically, financially and spiritually. It is evident as new members and new ministries are constantly being added to our church. To God be the Glory! God has a plan for The Fellowship of Faith Church. We are striving to fulfill our kingdom purpose.

Pastor Pastor Troy L. Garner is the founding Pastor of the Fellowship of Faith Church. He is a student of preaching, a student of the word. He grew up in Huntsville, Alabama where he was saved at the age of 10 and called to preach at the age of 18.Pastor Troy received his B.A in Biblical studies from the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical studies in 1996. He received his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. Presently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from the Birmingham Theological Seminary in Birmingham, Alabama. He desires to be a great preacher/teacher of the word.Pastor Troy has been preaching since 1987 and has been a pastor at churches in Mobile and Athens before founding The Fellowship of Faith in Huntsville in November of 2003 where God is doing a great work.Pastor Troy is married to Kimberly Garner. She assists her husband with daily operation of the Fellowship of Faith. Lady Kim is the Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Tory Michelle Garner who is 8.Pastor Troy is an avid sports fan. He is the Chaplain of the Alabama A&M University basketball & football teams. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of 100Black Men, an alumnus of Huntsville Leadership and a board member for the Harvest Boys and Girls Club.

Presently, she is an Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School. She loves health & fitness. She is a certified fitness trainer.Lady Kim is very active in the community. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority incorporated. She is an alumnus of Huntsville Leadership. She is an officer in the Greater Huntsville Interdenominational Ministerial Spouses Alliance. She loves her Pastor and her church.About ToryTory is a 6th grader at The Academy for Science and Foreign Language (ASFL). She is involved in dance at the North Alabama Dance Center. She loves bike riding and swimming. She plays softball and basketball at the Monrovia parks and recreation. She loves animals and collecting rocks.
