As a bluegrass band The Doerfels were very popular and had been playing 250 shows a year for the past 4 years, performing with other artists like Ricky Skaggs, The Isaacs, Asleep at the Wheel, and most recently, Diamond Rio. But The Doerfels have always been inspired by many different genres of music and the creative drive in them is causing them to branch out into something new.
Thus their musical journey continues
