So many women will say no, and who can blame them? They don't want to feel cheap and easy. Offering to buy a woman a drink is saying nothing more than, "I'm buying you a drink because I'm hoping it will get me into bed with you." See what I mean about counter-productive?
Even if a woman DOES accept a drink, it's often nothing more than being opportunistic--getting a free drink! But it doesn't mean she'll talk to you. And it definitely doesn't mean she's interested in you. Don't be surprised if, after finishing her free drink, she says, "I have to go." And you're back at square one.
