BUBBA FARMER
Bubba Farmer is a visionary, a performer, and a teacher. Behind the drum set, Farmer has performed in shows for Paramount's Kings Dominion and Heartbeat Productions, as well as in countless bands including, Age of Excess, At Random, and Katana Mantra. As a teacher at Mechanicsville Music, Farmer shapes the minds of over 50 students, from beginner to advanced. As a visionary, its Farmer's determinate mind, as well as his carpentry and wiring skills, that molded the Back Door vision into a reality.
JERRY JOE RENO
Jerry Joe Reno is an artist in the science of sound. Recording and mixing music since the age of 15, Reno has produced for commercial radio, film, and television projects. Reno is a singer/songwriter, plays multiple instruments, and is a studio/touring musician.
The Back Door provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We have two isolated performance studios that are perfect for accommodting a wide range of recording needs. Whether you need to lay down 24 simultaneous tracks for your 7 piece band, or record some overdubs for that new documentary you've been producing, this is the place to do it. These spaces were designed to suit your imagination.
STUDIO A
24 track recording, dedicated control room, live room, isolation room, and vocal booth.
Welcomes Bands, Commercial Radio, Film, Overdubs, Restoration, and Anything Sound at all.
STUDIO B
10 track recording, open space room for small bands, strings, acoustics, and
vocals. A perfect room for a 3 piece rock band that wants a vintage feel, or a string quartet that needs clarity and warmth.
CONTROL ROOM
Our dedicated control center and mixing/mastering house utilizes only the best. Pro Tools 9, state of the art Euphonix controllers and mixers and M-Audio Profire interfaces ensure the top quality sound scape that you demand.
We are fully staffed and well equipped to provide top quality recording services for local artists, national artists, businesses, radio and film makers. Not only can we track, mix, and master that perfect track for you, but we also have a large talent pool available to help you with anything from songwriting, to sound design, and voice over.
