The most famous and infamous older woman story ever written. In our early ideas wed been playing around with the visual idea of venetian blinds, as they are a design icon of the 60s and their shadow effect is used very prominently in the play. When we decided to cast Mrs Robinson as the predator, we looked at predators and decided the most visually stunning predator is the tiger. The stripes on the tiger reminded us of the venetian blind shadow effect, and the idea of Mrs Robinson as a tiger was born.
