Sometimes you play around with ideas for days before developing a concept. The idea for How the Other Half Loves came in a flash. This is a story that centres around three couples. The idea of couples led to families, which brought us to the classic game of Happy Families. The whole process took about three minutes. The graphic design of the poster is based on the actual card game. When we pitched the idea to the director, we said "Happy Families". He got the idea before he even saw the layout.
