This review is from: The 9th Day (Paperback)
Lisa is an amazing writer. This book is extremely graphic and is definitely not intended for children. Lisa writes with such raw emotion that you could easily picture yourself in Tess's place. What she endures at the hands of these monster's, you yourself feel too. This was definitely a page turner. I sat down to read a few pages and before I knew it, I had read the whole book. I found myself cringing in so many scenes as if it was actually happening to me. I look forward to her new book which hopefully comes out real soon!
Tessa is about to embark on the most horrifying adventure of her life. Taking a break from a normal life, she heads to St. Paul for a Metal concert. Suddenly finding romance with a dark and charming stranger who is everything she ever dreamed of. She finds herself being haunted by strangers in masks, whom she assumes to be a band just playing games with her.
Suddenly, it takes a chilling turn after the show when she is attacked and taken with brutal force. Fearing the worst is about to happen, she struggles to escape from the 13 horror boys that hunt her.
Only to find out there is no escape from this nightmare as The 9Th Day becomes her day, her last day.
