Wendy Babcock, left this world on Tuesday August 9th, 2011. The loss is enormous. The funny thing about knowing Wendy and now grieving Wendy, is constantly being challenged to embrace duality and contradictions. Feeling sad, exhausted, angry and shocked but at the same time having a laser-focus and energy towards wanting to work so hard and push forward and provide amazing services to self-identifying women within the city and make serious change.
