36 Hole Stroke Play Qualifying (40 Four-Ball & 30 Sr. Four-Ball)
Match Play (16 Four-Ball Teams & 8 Sr. Four-Ball Teams)

HISTORY OF TGA FOUR-BALL:
The TGA State Four-Ball began in 1971 at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville under the direction of long-time TGA director Orvis Milner. The following year fellow TGA director Joe Chalmers became involved in the tournament’s direction and Fox Den Country Club became the tournament’s home for 14 of the next 15 years.
Fox Den Country Club has been the venue of the event for 16 of the 35 years it has been played. A senior division was added in 1994.
Orvis Milner & Joe Chalmers Trophies
The Orvis Milner Trophy (right) is annually awarded to the champions of the TGA Four Ball Championship. The Joe Chalmers Trophy (left) is annually awarded to the champions of the TGA Senior Four Ball Championship. Milner and Chalmers are longtime TGA Directors who created the TGA Four-Ball Championships and both ran the event for many years.
