RESEARCH Dissertation
My dissertation consists of a typology of mirativity systems from different linguistic families. Mirativity is the grammaticalized expression of surprise and related meanings. I am analyzing both the syntax and semantics of mirativity.

Other projects
In the past, I have worked on symmetrical objecthood in Panoan Languages. Here , there is a paper I presented in PLC 34 on such topic.
In the distant past, I did some work on linguistic ideologies .
