The first and last time I created a website and published it online, I thought that everything would turn out just right. I was expecting to receive comments from friends like excellent site", good content", fast loading pages", etc. Instead I received comments such as slow", a work in progress", and broken links". When I checked back on my site and tried out all the links, I realized that all that they were saying were true. My website really looked like a work in progress. Initially I thought that having good graphic elements would make my website look good, later did I realize I have to also make sure that the pages would be able to open immediately on different web browsers and that the links are properly encoded and consistent throughout all the pages.

After all the terrible comments I have received, I decided to delete all of the files on my Dreamweaver and looked for other software applications that will help me publish my new website at the soonest possible time. Although these free readymade templates have probably been used over and over by different users around the world, I still believe that my website looked personalized with all the pictures, and other files I included in the site.
