Tara is a very diverse artist, from loving many styles of music, to acting, to her Taekwondo. Tara began singing publically at the age of 7, when she won a local talent show singing Do Re Mi. That experience began her desire to sing for a crowd whenever she had the chance. She has taken voice lessons for 8 years, and is currently singing with her Church Youth Band. She has been given the honor of singing The National Anthem for several events around her hometown, as well as, being requested to sing for various events by numerous organizations.
Tara also loves the theatre, and has performed in theatre productions since the age of 10. A highlight came, in the summer of 2007, when she was cast as "Kelsey Neilson" in Teatro delle Muse's performance of "High School Musical." The group performed 15 sold out shows. She was also the only freshman cast this past year in her High School musical "Ruthless."
Tara enjoys Taekwondo and is currently ranked a First Degree Black Belt in the American Taekwondo Association. She is currently working on her Second Degree. She is an assistant instructor and is a leader in class.
Like any teen she loves her friends, but she also has a very tender heart for those younger or less privileged than herself. She enjoys watching TV, playing her Wii, & working puzzles. However, if you mention a microphone or a stage, everything else goes by the wayside.
