I am a native of Savoy and graduated from Savoy High School. I have been blessed with a wonderful family which consists of my husband Steve of 26 years and two sons Jared, 23 who graduated from Abilene Christain University this last December and Derek, 20, who is a Junior at Texas A&M. I enjoy many activities including spending time with my family, camping trips especially to Beavers Bend, singing and playing the guitar, working in my yard, decorating my home and exercising.
I have taught at Savoy Elementary for 16 years and have enjoyed seeing so many talented students participate in our school musicals, Christmas programs, DARE programs and Spring Recorder concerts. My desire it to help introduce music to the students' lives in a positive way and help build confidence in themselves to accomplish the goals ahead of them. I am looking forward to another great year!
