We make everything fresh from scratch in small batches using only the finest ingredients. We bake the old-fashioned way without the use of preservatives or stabilizers so our desserts are meant to be enjoyed fresh from the oven.
In addition to the desserts on our menu, we can also accommodate special requests.
One day’s notice is appreciated for most orders, but we can often have your special order ready the same day
if you call by 8:00 am.

Pies by Inge is based in historic downtown Monticello Illinois. Our families have been baking pies, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods for many generations. Now, we bring our extensive collection of delicious down home recipes to your customers or family.
Pies by Inge has provided baked goods to Monticello and the surrounding areas since 1990. The business began with an emphasis primarily on pie, but now offers a wide selection of desserts to tempt any sweet tooth.

Every Friday, Pies by Inge makes Fresh Cinnamon Rolls!! They are hot out of the oven, huge and amazing.
Cinnamon Rolls are $2.00 each
or 3 for $5.
You can walk in to the bakery from 7:30 am to 10:30 am and pick up your breakfast!!
If you would like 6 or more, please contact us in advance so we can prepare you order.

From time to time, we like to play around with new recipes and try some new ideas. Well, we
tried making turnovers....let's just say they are super yummy!! The picture to the left is our first attempt, so they are a little "ugly" but still delicious. We have now perfected the art of turnovers and we are selling them like "hotcakes"...or turnovers. :)
We only make the turnovers when we have a little extra time, so I will always post on Facebook when they are hot out of the oven.
