About the Osteopath
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that treats a wide variety of complaints. Of course we treat bad backs, but we also treat sports injuries, arthritic pain, shoulder, knee, hip and foot pain. Osteopathy is based on the theory that the body functions as a collective unit, so if one part, for example the foot doesn't function properly then this could lead to problems elsewhere, ie the knee.
Osteopaths use gentle techniques to treat the patient, restoring the function of the body.
Jonathan joined the British Army at 18 and served for 7 years before deciding on a change of career and training to be an Osteopath.
While he takes an active interest in Sports Injuries he also treats the elderly with arthritic aches and pains.

"I've been living with lower back pain for ten years. Taylor's osteopathy were able to identify the cause and treat - reducing the pain and helping me with exercises and practical improvements. I was worried about getting time of work for treatments, but with evening appointments it wasn't a problem."

FAQ.
Q: Do I need to be a member of Top Notch Gym?
A: No, no membership is necessary, many of my patients are from outside the gym.
Q: Can i pay for treatment with my insurance?
A: I am registered with most insurance companies, it varies from policy to policy, but always ask the insurance company first
Q: Do you just treat backs?
A: No i treat a wide range of complaints. Ring me today and I will let you know if i can help you.
Q.Do you just click joints?
A. Osteopaths don't just click joints, its only a small part of a treatment and not always used. We also use a lot of soft tissue and stretching techniques. As a patient you have complete control over what techniques are used.
"I had 3 appointments with Jonathan for an old rugby shoulder injury. He had a very holistic approach and treated my neck and back which was the root of the problem. Im now able to play rugby again and back to full fitness."
