750 0 Taxi was founded in 1989, in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. On May 5, 2004, the founder of 7500 Taxi company, Floyd Waite, passed away, leaving the business he built to his son Ric Waite and his wife Kim.
Ric and his wife relocated to Sault Ste. Marie in 2004 to continue the family business that Floyd started in 1989.
Floyd formed 7500 Taxi with only one car and a passion for driving.
7500 Taxi has been providing safe, reliable transportation to the people of Sault Ste. Marie. Thanks to the hard work and professionalism of our dedicated and loyal team, we have grown from that one car to a fleet of over twenty six passenger vans. We pride ourselves in providing the highest standards for customer service and the professional quality of our drivers and vehicles.
We believe in community spirit and being involved with the needs of the community in general. Our close involvement with the local Soup Kitchen includes free rides to and from Church, with a donation of non-perishable food items, which we in turn deliver to our Soup Kitchen. Since 1998, 7500 Taxi
has partnered with North 82 restaurant, and the Soup kitchen,providing free transportation for those in need to enjoy a complimentary Christmas dinner.
We have a great staff of professionals compromising of 5 dispatchers, 4 office staff, 3 car detailers,
40+ drivers, 1 licensed mechanic and 1 apprentice mechanic.
