Hi all! I'm Tawny and I am originally from North Carolina. I moved to Minnesota about two years ago with my husband Nick and our two britanny spaniels Copper and Delta. I attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul to receive a Masters of Sacred Music. I am a full-time Lutheran church musician in Bloomington, MN. I also teach voice lessons and sing for special events.
I was a Zumba student for a year before I decided I wanted to teach. I received my Zumba certificaton inJuly of 2009. I love Zumba because it is great excercise and it's fun. Every class is like a dance party!
I have a strong dance and cheerleading background, so teaching Zumba is a great fit for me. It combines dance moves with the high energy leadership needed to teach classes. My favorite thing about Zumba is that anyone can participate. No dance experience is required and students walk away feeling good about their workout.
