Tango is a game, an experimental space where we can merge our knowledge with our instincts.
We play with the connection inside the couple, making a dialogue based on a sent-and-received energy trasmitted by contact.
We play the music. The leader is the interpreter, and the follower, the instrument. Each song puts the rules and we start playing the music with different elements (sacadas, barridas, boleos, ganchos, paradas, tomadas, volcadas, colgadas).
The structure in tango is a web: we can go in all the directions (foward, back, side, diagonal or turning at the same point). The dance is the result of combining these coordinates with the elements in one musical pattern.
