Wix provides a flexible, fast, and cost-effective method to launch my clients' business websites
Before going out on my own as a freelance designer a couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of working as the graphic designer for a southern lifestyle publication and helped develop strong branding campaigns as a contract art director at a medium sized marketing firm.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art and polished my visual communication skills at a separate art school before graduation.
I started using Wix a few years ago. At the time, I was working full time at a magazine and had little time to begin a freelance career on the side. I needed a quick web design solution to get my portfolio up and running.
Although I was very familiar with WordPress and Dreamweaver and had used these tools in the past, I appreciated the flexibility of Wix and ease of which I could import customized photoshop and illustrator content.
My favorite projects vary year-by-year! When I first started out, I was most interested in package and product design. However, I have most recently enjoyed pushing the limits of vector graphics and dabbling in the world of mobile game design. Every day is a chance to learn something new.
The world of design is so exciting and ever-evolving! I am constantly blown away and inspired by the talent and products produced by other designers. Who knows what type of project I’ll be daydreaming about in the future!
