It's not about religion, it's about being captured by the wildly authentic, real, rough and raw love of God and then being compelled by that love to transform the world around us.

Mission and Purpose Statement
about us
~To go out and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus' love, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils, training everyone we meet, in this way of life.~
The purpose of Grace Like A River Ministries is to 1) to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world to as many people as possible in as many places possible, 2) to disciple nations in the love of God, 3) to live a life of intentional laid down love 5) and to create the atmosphere of Heaven on Earth.
Vision
Our vision is simple. We want to go out and cause others world-wide to fall in love with Jesus. Its that simple. Jesus told us to make disciples of nations, He also told us that our main aim in life was to love Him with our entire being, as well as loving our neighbor. Our vision is to simply teach others how to love God. We long for those who are considered undesired, untouchable, and outcasted. We want people to know what we know about our most wonderful Jesus, to experience the ecstasy of Divine Love, that others would begin to be able to take in the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. (Eph 3:17-19 MSG). We are a ministry of love.

About Daniel Black
From the streets to the church house, Daniel Black's heartbeat and passion are the love and presence of Jesus. In one of his missionary journies into China, Daniel had a powerful encounter where Jesus showed him that true ministry was not behind a pulpit, but was found in becoming a yeilded vessel and conduit of the very love of God wherever he was at. He has set his life to flow from a place of love, faith, and power.
Daniel has traveled the world around with this message of the love of Christ. From the streets of San Francisco to the streets of Beijing, he has committed his life to spreading the fire of Jesus' love and power. He longs to see people from every background fall in love with Jesus. He has committed himself to reach the untouchables, the unwanted, the outcasts, those society has deemed unworthy, and God has deemed al-together lovely.
Daniel has served in various roles in the Body of Christ; worship leader, missions/outreach pastor, conference speaker, children's ministry...but his most favorite role is that of a lover of Jesus and a friend to those around him.

Join us at His House Fellowship in McArthur, CA as we host Shawn Bolz from Expression58 in Los Angeles. Shawn is a pastor and prophetic revivalist who has been in ministry since 1993, speaking at conferences, schools, and television programs, all with a heart for training and equipping people in their lives to further pursue God, and mentoring people in their spiritual development. In March of 2009, Shawn released a prophetic word about breakthrough in the state of California. Shawn is visiting us to release that word over our region and community.

Secret Place Gathering
An Event for Mystics, Lovers, Ecstatics & Everyone Else

We are so excited about the upcoming "Secret Place Gathering" happening October 15-18, 2009 at His House Fellowship in McArthur, California! This conference is literally like a retreat with a setting like the beautiful Sierra mountains of Northern California. The heart of the Secret Place Gathering is to provide an environment in the presence of God where it is so easy to dive into the depths of God's love and pursue that depth collectively. As the ancient Celts called them, a thin place, where the line that divides between Heaven and Earth is impossible to find. This conference is about imparting and releasing. It will be four days of intense worship, practical teaching, wild impartation and radical God encounters. Our hope is that those in attendance leave firm in the bedrock of Who God is for them, firm in His love...growing deeper in His love for them and their love for Him.
