.... living life while seeking adventure. I'm a part-time reference model, free lance writer, media personality and full time dork. I'm a fan-girl to the max and enjoy snuggling with my cat Houdini and reading my latest pulls. I adore going to comic and sci-fi conventions as well as the local hot rod shows and races. I am a girl who is impressed with a neatOh toy and some cheap veggie tacos, more so than the latest Juicy Couture earrings and an expensive dinner. I am addicted to x-box live and chocolate soymilk. A good day for me is having my internet connection on overdrive playing video games, laughing loudly at cartoons and staying up until the moon goes down. Who is The Taffeta Darling?
The Taffeta Darling is a regular contributer on the Loud Idiots Radio Show . She has taken her popular blog, Curves and Comics , and manifested it into her own segment on the show which she reviews games, comics and other pop culture media references.The Taffeta Darling has been an original media persona in the Dallas community since 2008. Starting off as a pinup model, she now works on her dream to travel as a gypsy costumer, and feels lucky enough to work various conventions sharing booths in support of her favorite artists. She was nominated and won Sam Johnsons coveted Fan Babe of the Year for 2010, and was a finalist in the "Hot Rods and Heels" Texas Pin-Up Model of the Year for 2011.Willing to travel cities near and far in hopes of finding her next adventure, Taffeta has worked with artists from Troublemaker Studios, Spacegun Studios. Tafefta has been seen on Attack of the Show on the G4 Network, covering the Dallas Burlesque Festival and the Star Wars Fan Days.You can check out her written reviews on her official blog www.curvesandcomics.blogspot.com, as well as hear the audio clips from her *Just Sayin* segments from the Loud Idiots podcast.
