ABOUT WHITELIGHT
Created originally as a guitar practice session by Jon and Alex, WhiteLight (with God's blessing) grew to becoming a band of high noteriety around Cornwall, bringing God's blessing wherever they went.
After a few months Jon and Alex were joined by Ken on drums, and then a little later Phil joined the group to run technical. Thus the lineup was complete: Jon out front on guitar and vocals, Alex on bass, Ken on drums and Phil 'working the decks'.
The group's first go at recording a disc came when Jon's song "Raise Up" was requiested. The resultant EP entitled "Raging Fire" was the first of many productions masterminded by Phil and Jon. And was followed up the following year with an 8 track disc of Alex's songs called "God Reigns".
WhiteLight played together for 2 and a half years, concouqered many difficulties, and saw great blessing from God. However, when Alex returned to Kent it was decided the group would remain good Christian friends but to halt operations as a practicing band.
In the wake of WhiteLight, and with new young artists coming onto the scene, Phil and Jon drew on their experiences with the group to create Soteria:Music.
In the years since Phil has married Ruth and has three
children. Ken has married Lois. Jon and Phil both work
in IT in Truro, Alex now lives in Kent, and Ken lives
in Redruth.

TOUR
WhiteLight are no longer a gigging band.
However Jon is regularly to be found playing the music in Redruth Baptist Church, where Phil also heads up the technical team.
