Born and raised in a hair dressing family in Japan, I grew up in my mother's hair salon watching her cut and style hair, developing a natural passion for it. After High School, I moved to Los Angeles and attended Cosmetology school. After graduating, I began working at a prestigious hair salon in West Hollywood as an apprentice developing hair cutting and coloring techniques before taking on my own clientele. Through out the last ten years I've continued to master my skills and confidence behind the chair, providing both my male and female clients with great cuts and color. I've also had the opportunity to work with many different creative artists on photo shoots and fashion shows.

Monica has been a hairstylist for over 8 years and has loved every moment. She is a Redken Master Specialist and is always up on current trends. She enjoys being creative with her clients to come up with a look that is fun, fashionable and easy to wear. Not specializing in just one area Monica gives her clients the whole look, along with innovative color and cuts she is also a professional make-up artist and works in high end nail design. She believes the most important part of making anyones hair look good is making sure the condition of the hair is healthy and strong. By using unique products and tricks she has found through out the years, she has helped many people with growing their hair out and bringing it back to life after harsh color services.
