About us
What Is Student Venture?
Student Venture is the high school and junior high ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International. Since 1966, we have been reaching out to teenagers with more than 1,300 full-time staff members, Student Venture affiliates, and local community volunteers. We are a community of Spirit-led, Christ-centered, spiritually maturing believers who are like-minded in mission and purpose. We are only effective when we are collectively engaging the heart and mind of our Lord Jesus Christ. Without the vitality of a rich intimate relationship with God and firm grasp of His infallible Word, our missional framework is meaningless.Student Venture is also a contributing member of the Campus Alliance and National Network of Youth Ministries©. Through the Campus Alliance, Student Venture and 60 other national organizations are working hand in hand to help develop campus movements so that every student everywhere has the opportunity to grow in character and know Christ personally.WHERE IS STUDENT VENTURE?Student Venture is currently serving in metro locations and over 100 affiliate locations in the U.S. Contact us nationally.OUR PASSIONThe heartbeat of Student Venture is teenagers. What People Are Saying About Student Venture:CHRIS & KIM PARENTS IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA"Four years ago our oldest son Sean, as a high school freshman, was questioning his faith and even his concept of God and Jesus. He began to associate with a new group of friends when he went to school and it wasnt long before they invited him to attend Student Venture activities.""Sean started faithfully attending the weekly Student Venture meetings. It was during Seans freshman year that Student Venture changed both him and our entire family. During this time Sean accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.""It was during Seans freshman year he went to their annual conference the Myrtle Beach Getaway it was this trip that I truly believe gave us a new beginning as a family. I will always remember Seans comments upon returning home. He came in with a handful of books and tapes from the conference and set them down and said, "Mom, there is no doubt in my mind now that Jesus is real. I was awestruck and ecstatic.""Sean continued to grow in his faith and in his involvement with Student Venture all through his time in high school."PAT & JAMIE PARENTS IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA"The ministry of Student Venture is a tremendous partner for us in fulfilling our desire to pass on our legacy of faith in God to our kids. Through their small groups, one-to-one discipleship, training opportunities, and retreat weekends, our children can achieve a greater understanding of who God is and what He wants for their lives. The commitment of the staff and volunteers of Student Venture is a great encouragement to us as we help our children navigate through the tumultuous years of adolescence. "RANDY & CINDY PARENTS IN OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA"Before our son started his junior year he was involved in a struggle, a battle of his faith. A phone call to the area Student Venture leader was a call that changed the course of our sons life.""The staff leader prayed with me, gave me advice, and suggested some reading material. He did not stop there. His concern followed up with a phone call to our son. They got together on numerous occasions to wade through the questions plaguing our son. The leaders personal walk with Christ and knowledge of the Bible as well as his love for young people, made the difference in our sons life. At the end of his search, our son found his way back to God. In our minds, these men and women are missionaries to the young people in the US and truly, a Godsend to our family."
