UK born actor, Suzanne Bastien is of Jamaican and Guyanese descent. She is a respected Film, TV and Commercial actor with over 12 years in the industry. Her directorial debut won her the "Pick of The Fringe" in 2009.
Alana Husband was born in Barbados, raised in Calgary, and moved to Vancouver in 2001. She has worked in theatre, film and TV for over 15 years, her favorite role being 'Sweet' in the award-winning series 'Intelligence'
Marsha Regis was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and has been acting on the stage, in film and television for the past 10 years. She believes that Art can change the world for the better, if we let it.
Montreal-born Omari Newton is a professional artist whose work can be seen on television, film and stage. He is a playwright, poet and actor who is fluently bilingual in both French and English.
Maya Angelou's poem "Still I Rise" serves as an anthem to Marcia to overcome hardships & live her dreams. Thank you for celebrating Black History Month with us.

Kwesi has worked in film TV and theatre for the lpast ten years. He is pleased to be a part of this ensemble.
Chris, loves to dance and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. He performs Tap, Hip Hop and also enjoys Contemporary. He started Tap dancing when he was six years old and it's taken him all over the world.
Donny hails from Montreal, and has been an actor since 1986. He is very proud to be a part of this production and of Rooted Theatre Productions.
Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains, Crystal Balint has been performing since she was a child. While working professionally acting and singing in film, TV and theatre for more than 10 years, she is fueled by a passion for the Arts.
Rukiya Bernard is a born and raised Torontonian. Trained at Ryerson Theatre School, she has appeared in numerous film, TV and theatre projects.
