The public
Why the Fair
Our offer for you
The public attending the Fair will be multicultural (the event attracting both German and International students), and strongly multidisciplinary.
We are targeting students and young alumni from several different study programes and German Universities. The aim being to have the most heterogeneous public, both in terms of academic and professional experience - one that will surely cover your needs.
You should therefore expect individuals active in different areas of sustainability such as:
- technical / scientific : wastewater management, waste management, EIA, life cycle assessment, renewable energies, landscape planning, forest management, conservation;
- communication: corporate social responsibility, sustainability marketing, sustainability communication;
- policy making: environmental law, private environmental governance;
- sustainable development and technical and economic cooperation.
Around 200 visitors are expected.
Click here to know more about services at the Fair.
Be it through the implementation of a new corporate social policy, the environmental certification of a certain product, or again the required compliance to more stringent emission limits - companies and institutions are progressively aware that times are evolving.
'Business-as-usual' approaches are weakining against mounting pressure for a change from consumers and policy makers; nor can we forget the increasing economic appeal of more sustainable solutions.
In this context, we felt it was necessary to help building a bridge between actors looking for such solutions, and individuals prepared and willing to take up the challenge.
With its world leading companies and its outstanding University system boosting a great number of courses dedicated to sustainability and environmental management, Munich is an ideal place for this to happen - one with a terrific potential.
Join the Fair and be at the forefront.
