Last Saturday, January 29, The Film Gym held its soft launch with a
gathering made up of the registrants of the first film seminar and workshop for 2011 that starts on February 5, and luminaries from the independent cinema which included Raymond and Jon Red, Ogi Sugatan, Lem Garcellano, Larry Manda, Cesar Hernando, Ricky Orellana, Mik Red, with friends and supporters, and hosts Leo Martinez, Director General of the Film Academy of the Philippines, and Surf Reyes, Director of The Film Gym.
The gathering served to lay the spiritual foundation of the creative space that will serve all who choose to use filmmaking for personal and social transformation.
