MANY EDITING ERRORS IN THE LAST WEEKS

    Ticket by evasavedesign | August 28, 2014 | Question
    • Hello Guys,

After some weeks having trouble editing my site I decide to write you. I was quite patient due to that I thought you were having some intern updates or whatever but everyweek is getting more ocmplicated the situation...

From the first time I came to wix until now my updates are getting much slowly and I lose long time to do them...

      1. Updating images doesn't work properly. I can only do it one by one and it doesnt even show me when it's done.. so I have to be closing and opening the update screen several times. Need to be fixed...

      2. From this week, I can not edit any image... not update not change.

Please I need to have this fixed as soon as possible.

      Thanks for your attention

      Eva

      Hello Again Guys,

It seems that it was a pop-up problem. I increased that kind of security -tools (ADBLOCK PLUS and Addon) in my computer so to work with wix was getting complicated. Now I disable the tool just for wix and it seems like it is working again!

Now I just have the problem of the time-pictures update.. which is maybe due to my wi-fi connection.

ThanI have one more question since time and I couldnt found the answer in the help center.

"How to re-size  pictures without distortion?" I do know how to resize but even if I do it clicking on ctrl or cmd or alt or shift  it doesn't keep the size/shape of it, I have to care and manage it by myself or the picture getts distortion...

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR NICE HELP.

      Eva

      Hi,

If you're experiencing a reduction in image quality after uploading your images to your Wix site, there are a few steps which we recommend completing before uploading them again.

Check out our Improving Image Quality tutorial to learn more.

      Best, Ritti

      Hi,

As I mentioned, is not about image quality (Look picture attached) is about modifiing a picture size and not getting distortion... usually in any program the way of modifiing a size (visual size, not MB) is pressing Ctrl or Alt or Shift while moving one corner. In the case of wix any of this keys is working. That's why I ask now if there is any other way that I don't know... Hope you Understand what I mean now.

      Thanks again

      Eva

      Hi Eva,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

If you want to keep the image's proportions when resizing, simply use the corner of the image to resize (and not the sides) - see image below.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, or if you meant something else.

Have a great day! Noa :)
