Background

Choose a site background from our collection or upload an image to create your own background!

Choose a site background from our collection to add a background for your site.

To set your background:

1. From the left side of the Editor, click the paintbrush icon to open Design.
2. From Design, click Background.
3. From Background, click a background.

Your background changes.

To return to Design, click Back to Design from the top of the Background window.
To close Design, click X from the top right.

Create your own background by uploading an image and using it as a background for your site!

To upload your own background image:

1. From the left side of the Editor, click the paintbrush icon to open Design.
2. From Design, click Background.
3. From Background, click Upload & Customize Background.
4. Under Customize Background, click Add Image.

5. From the top right of the Backgrounds Gallery, click Upload Image.

6. From the window that opens, browse your folders and select your image. Click Open to upload your image.
7. From the Backgrounds Gallery, click your image and then click OK.

Your background image changes.

To return to Design, click Back to Background and then Back to Design from the top of the Background window.
To close Design, click X from the top right.

You can upload any size image. However, the original size of your image will affect how the image is displayed if you use the Normal or Tile image scaling options (see the table in the section below). In addition, for optimized image quality, if you use the Full Screen image scaling option, we recommend that your uploaded picture is as large as it can be.

Customize your uploaded site background by changing the image scaling, position, background color and scroll function of your background.

To customize your background:

1. From the left side of the Editor, click the paintbrush icon to open Design.
2. From Design, click Background.
3. From Background, click Upload & Customize Background.

4. From Customize Background, under Image Scaling, mark the circle next to one of the options:

5. Under Position, click the square that matches the section of your site that your background should appear in.
6. Check or uncheck the box next to Scroll background with site.
Checking the box sets your background to scroll with the text and images on your page.
Leaving the box unchecked sets your background to remain in a static position on your page.
7. Next to Change Color, click on the drop-down menu to open the Color Picker.
8. From the Color Picker, click a color.

Your background changes.

To return to Design, click Back to Background and then Back to Design from the top of the Background window.
To close Design, click X from the top right.

If you have uploaded your own image for your site background, you can delete it from Design.

To delete your background image:

1. From the left side of the Editor, click the paintbrush icon to open Design.
2. From Design, click Background.
3. From Background, click Upload & Customize Background.
4. Under Change Image, click Remove Image.

Your background image is deleted.

To return to Design, click Back to Background and then Back to Design from the top of the Background window.
To close Design, click X from the top right.
