• Overview

    You can add a blog to your site to regularly add new content to your site! Adding a blog will allow you to add various kinds of posts to your blog such as videos, images and text.

    Your blog will improve your site's SEO and you will also be able to share your blog and posts on social networks.

    In addition to the blog feed itself, your blog is made up of four additional elements which you will be able to rearrange and customize: a posts gallery, a posts list, a tag cloud and a ticker.

  • Adding a Blog to Your Site

    To add a blog to your site:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements.
    3. From Blog Elements, click Add Blog.

    A blog is added to your site.

    Your blog will be added to your site as a new page. You will also have a new hidden page added to your site. The hidden page will be a dynamic page which will show a single blog post and will open when your visitor clicks on a blog post to expand it.

    If your blog has over ten posts, an automatic navigation bar will be added to the bottom of the page.

  • Adding and Editing Blog Posts

    You can add three kinds of posts to your blog: an image post, a text post and a video post.

    Adding a New Post

    To add a new blog post:

    1. Click the Blog Feed to select it.
    2. From the pop-up menu, click Add & Edit Blog Posts.
    3. From Blog, click Add.

    4. Next to Title, type a title for your post. 


    5. Type your post in the box.

    You can add text, images, and videos to each post.

    Currently, you can only add a video from YouTube or Vimeo. 

    6. Under Tags, add tags for your post in the field.
    7. Checkmark the box next to Set as featured post to display this post in your featured list.
    8. Click OK.

    Clicking OK and add another will save your post and automatically open a new window to allow you to quickly add another text post.

    10. From Blog, click Save.

    A new text post is added to your blog.

    Editing a Blog Post

    To edit a blog post:

    1. Click the Blog Feed to select it.
    2. Click Add & Edit Blog Posts.
    3. From Blog, under Posts, select Published Posts, Featured Posts or Draft Posts.
    4. Roll over a blog post and click Edit.

    5. Edit your post accordingly. 
    6. Click OK.
    7. From Blog, click Save.

  • Duplicating a Post

    To duplicate a post:

    1. Click the Blog Feed to select it.
    2. Click Add & Edit Blog Posts.
    3. From Blog, under All Posts, roll over a post.

    4. Click Edit.
    5. From the bottom of the Edit Post window, click Make Copy.

    When you have finished adding and editing your posts, be sure to click Save from the Blog window to save your changes to your blog!

  • Deleting a Post

    To delete a post:

    1. Click the Blog Feed to select it.
    2. Click Add & Edit Posts.
    3. From Blog, under All Posts, roll over a post.

    4. Click Edit.
    5. From the bottom of the Edit Post window, click Delete.

    6. From Blog, click Save.

  • Customizing Your Blog Feed

    To customize your blog feed:

    1. Click the Blog Feed to select it.
    2. From the pop-up, click Settings.

    3. Under Choose Layout, click a layout option.
    4. Customize the padding, spacing, date and alignment of your posts.

    Your Blog Feed is customized.

  • Customizing Your Single Post Page

    When your visitors click on a blog post, the post opens on its own page. The single post page is a hidden page of your site and displays dynamic content – a full page post from your blog. You can customize the look of this single post page by opening it in your Editor.

    To customize your single post page:

    1. From the top left of your Editor, next to Page, click the drop-down menu and select Single Post from the list.
    2. Click the full page post to select it.
    3. Click Settings.

    4. Under Choose Layout, click a layout option.
    5. Customize the padding, spacing, date, social icons and alignment of your single posts.

    Your Single Post page is customized.

    You can also customize the Facebook Comments element from this page or customize and delete the other elements from your blog. Changes that you make to this page will only affect the design of your expanded single posts and will not affect the main page of your blog.

  • Adding and Customizing a Posts Gallery

    You can add a posts gallery to your blog to display specific posts to your visitors. You can add the Posts Gallery to your blog page or to any other page of your site!

    Adding a Posts Gallery to Your Blog

    To add a posts gallery to your blog:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements .
    3. From Blog Elements, click Posts Gallery.

    4. Click the posts gallery to select it and then click Filter Posts.
    5. From Filter Posts, next to Filter posts by tag, click the drop-down menu and choose a tag from the list.

    Your posts gallery will display only the posts with the tag that you choose.

    6. Next to Filter by type, click the drop-down menu and choose an option.

    You can display all types of posts in your posts gallery or choose to display only image, text or video posts.

    7. Checkmark the box next to Show only Featured Posts to display only those posts that you have set as featured posts.

    You can mark a post featured by going to Add & Edit Posts and editing your post. From Edit Post, checkmark the box next to Set as a featured post.

    8. Next to Max posts to show, type a maximum number of posts to display in your posts gallery.
    9. Click OK.

    A posts gallery is added to your blog.

    Customizing Your Posts Gallery

    To customize your posts gallery:

    1. Click the posts gallery to select it.
    2. Click Settings.

    3. From Posts Gallery settings, click Filter Posts to edit your filter options.
    4. Under Choose Layout, click a layout option.
    5. Customize the text direction, number of columns and rows, spacing, date, alignment and more.

    Your posts gallery is customized.

  • Adding and Customizing a Posts List

    You can add a posts list to your blog to display specific posts to your visitors. You can add the Posts List to your blog page or to any other page of your site!

    To add a posts list to your blog:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements.
    3. From Blog Elements, click Posts List.

    4. Click the posts list to select it and then click Filter Posts.
    5. From Filter Posts, next to Filter posts by tag, click the drop-down menu and choose a tag from the list.

    Your posts list will display only the posts with the tag that you choose.

    6. Next to Filter by type, click the drop-down menu and choose an option.

    You can display all types of posts in your posts list or choose to display only image, text or video posts.

  • Adding and Customizing a Tag Cloud

    You can add a tag cloud to your blog to make it easier for your users to browse your blog posts by tag.

    Please note that currently there is a limit of 70 tags.

    To add a tag cloud to your blog:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements.
    3. From Blog Elements, click Tag Cloud.

    A tag cloud is added to your blog.

    To customize your tag cloud:

    1. Click the tag cloud to select it.
    2. Click Settings.

    3. From Tag Cloud settings, customize the font size of the tags.

  • Adding and Customizing a Ticker

    You can add a ticker to your blog and display specific posts to your visitors. You can add the Ticker to your blog page or to any other page of your site!

    To add a ticker to your blog:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements.
    3. From Blog Elements, click Ticker.

    4. Click the ticker to select it and then click Filter Posts.
    5. From Filter Posts, next to Filter posts by tag, click the drop-down menu and choose a tag from the list.

    Your ticker will display only the posts with the tag that you choose.

    6. Next to Filter by type, click the drop-down menu and choose an option.

    You can display all types of posts in your ticker or choose to display only image, text or video posts.

    7. Checkmark the box next to Show only Featured Posts to display only those posts that you have set as featured posts.

    1. Click the ticker to select it.
    2. Click Settings.

    3. From Ticker settings, click Filter Posts to edit your filter options.
    4. Under Choose Layout, click a layout option.
    5. Customize the text direction, time interval, spacing, transitions, alignment and more.

  • Adding and Customizing a Blog Archive

    A blog archive will automatically gather all your past posts into a list, categorized by month and year.

    To add and customize an archive for your blog:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Blog Elements.
    3. From Blog Elements, click Archive.

    4. From Archive Settings, select a layout.

    If you chose the first (default) layout, continue to follow the instructions below:

    5. From Space Between List Items, set a number to indicate the space between the items in your archive list.
    6. Next to Show Line Separators, check the box if you would like line separators to appear.
    7. Next to Show Counter, uncheck the box if you would like to hide the amount of post next to each date in your list.  
    8. Under Date Format, click the drop-down menu and select a format for the date.
    9. Under Number of Months to Display, click the drop-down menu and select a number of months.
