• Overview

    Add a contact form to your site so that your visitors can easily contact you. Completed contact forms will be sent automatically to any email that you specify.

  • Adding a Contact Form

    To add a contact form:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the plus sign to open Add.
    2. From Add, click Apps and then click Contact Form.
    3. From Contact Form Settings, under Email To, type the email that your site visitors will contact when filling in the form.

    Your Wix log in email will automatically appear in this field. You can edit this email or leave it as is.

    4. Under Email BCC, type an email that will be blind-copied when your visitors fill in the form.

    A contact form is added to your site.

  • Customizing a Contact Form

    To customize a contact form:

    1. Double-click your contact form.
    2. From Contact Form Settings, click Change Style.
    3. From Change Style, click a style. Click OK.

    You can also edit the style by clicking Edit Style or create a style of your own by clicking Personalize this Form.

    4. From Contact Form Settings, under Customize Form Fields, check the box to the left of a field to add the field to your form.

    To remove a field from your form, uncheck the box. Note that the Email field is a mandatory field and cannot be unchecked.

    5. Edit the names of the fields to collect different information or to change the language of the form.

    6. Click the star to the right of the field to change the field between mandatory and optional.

    If you set a field as mandatory, your site visitor will have to fill in the mandatory field to submit a contact form.

    If you set a field as optional, your site visitor will have the choice of submitting a contact form without filling in the optional field.

    7. Under Text Direction, change the text direction of your contact form.
    8. Under Send Button Text, update the field to change the Send button text.
    9. Update the Success and Error Messages to change the text.

    A Success Message will appear when a user successfully submits a form.

    An Error Message will appear if the visitor does not provide a valid email or if the visitor does not fill in all of the mandatory fields.

    Your contact form is customized.

  • Customizing Your Contact Form Style

    To customize your contact form style:

    1. Double-click your contact form.
    2. From Contact Form Settings, click Change Style.
    3. From Change Style, next to your style, click Edit Style.

    Or create a style of your own from scratch by clicking Personalize this Form!

    4. From Advanced Styles, customize your contact form Skin, Colors, Fonts and Corner Sizes. Click OK.

  • Contact Form Options

    Email To – set the email recipient of the contact forms.
    Email BCC – set an email that will be blind copied on the contact forms.
    Change Style – change the style of your contact form or create your own.
    Customize Form Fields – add or remove fields from your form, edit the names of the fields or make a field mandatory or optional.
    Text Direction – change the text direction of your contact form.
    Send Button Text – update the text of the Send button.
    Success Message – update the text that a user will see when successfully sending a contact form.
    Error Message Texts – update the error texts that a user will see when incorrectly filling out the form.
