• Overview

    You can add FAQs to your site to answer the most frequently asked questions about your company and to share them with your visitors.

    You can add several different FAQs to your site, each with as many categories and questions that you may need to add to them.

  • Adding an FAQ or FAQ Category to Your Site

    You can add an FAQ with several categories to your site or you can separate your questions among individual pages, each with its own separate FAQ or FAQ category.

    To add an FAQ or FAQ category to your site:

    1. From the left side of the Editor, click the market icon to open Wix App Market.
    2. From Wix App Market, click FAQ.
    3. From FAQ, click Add to site.

    4. From Choose FAQ, click the drop-down menu and select an FAQ or FAQ category to add it to this site page. Click OK.

    Click No thanks, I'd like to create a new FAQ to open the FAQ Editor. You will be able to edit all of the content within the FAQ at any time from the FAQ Editor.

    5. Repeat Steps 1-4 to add more FAQs or FAQ categories to your site.

    Your FAQ or FAQ category is added to your site.

  • Replacing an FAQ or FAQ Category on Your Site

    You can replace the FAQ or FAQ category that appears on your site page with a different FAQ or FAQ category.

    To replace an FAQ or FAQ category on your site:

    1. Click the FAQ or FAQ category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Choose FAQ.
    3. From the drop-down menu, click an FAQ or FAQ category from the list.

    4. Click OK.

    You have updated the FAQ or FAQ category that appears on your site.

  • Adding and Editing FAQs

    You can easily add new FAQs to your FAQ collection or edit and rename existing ones.

    Adding an FAQ

    To add an FAQ:

    1. Click an FAQ on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click Add FAQ.

    4. From Add FAQ, under Title, type a title in the field.

    5. Under Description, type a description in the field.
    6. Click OK.

    A new FAQ is added to your FAQ collection.

    Clicking OK and add another will save your FAQ and automatically open a new window to allow you to quickly add more FAQs.

    Editing an FAQ

    To edit an FAQ:

    1. Click an FAQ on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click an FAQ.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over the FAQ header.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From Edit FAQ, under Title and Description, edit the text in the fields.

    7. Click OK.

    Your FAQ changes.

    Clicking Delete removes the FAQ. Your categories and questions will not be deleted, you can find them on the left side of the FAQ Editor, under Hidden categories and Hidden Q&A.

    Duplicating an FAQ

    To duplicate an FAQ:

    1. Click an FAQ on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click an FAQ.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over the FAQ header.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From the bottom of Edit FAQ, click Make Copy.

    A copy of your FAQ appears under All FAQs on the left of the FAQ Editor.

  • Adding and Editing Categories

    You can add categories to the FAQs in your FAQ collection or edit and rename existing ones.

    Adding a Category to an FAQ

    To add a category to an FAQ:

    1. Click an FAQ or category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click an FAQ.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, next to your FAQ header, click Add.

    5. From Add FAQ Category, under Title, type a title in the field.

    6. Click OK.

    A new category is added to your FAQ.

    Clicking OK and add another will save your category and automatically open a new window to allow you to quickly add more categories.
    Under Appears in, click Move to to move your category to a different FAQ. Click the X next to a FAQ to remove this category from that FAQ.

    Editing a Category

    To edit a category:

    1. Click an FAQ or category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click a category.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over the Category header.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From Edit FAQ Category, under Title, type a title in the field.

    7. Click OK.

    Your category changes.

    Under Appears in, click Move to to move your category to a different FAQ. Click the X next to an FAQ to remove the category from that FAQ.
    Clicking Delete removes the category. Your questions will not be deleted, you can find them on the left side of FAQ Editor, under Hidden Q&A.

    Duplicating a Category

    To duplicate a category:

    1. Click an FAQ or category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click a category.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over the Category header.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From the bottom of Edit FAQ Category, click Make Copy.

    A copy of your category appears under All FAQs on the left of the FAQ Editor.

  • Adding and Editing Q&As

    You can easily add to and edit the questions and answers in your FAQ collection from the FAQ Editor.

    Adding a Q&A

    To add a Q&A:

    1. Click an FAQ or FAQ category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click a category.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, next to your Category header, click Add.

    5. From Add Q&A, under Question, type a question in the field.

    6. Under Answer, type an answer in the field.
    7. Click OK.

    A new Q&A is added to your FAQ.

    Clicking OK and add another will save your Q&A and automatically open a new window to allow you to quickly add more Q&As.
    Under Appears in, click Add to to add your Q&A to a different FAQ category. Click the X next to an FAQ category to remove this Q&A from that FAQ Category.

    Editing a Q&A

    To edit a Q&A:

    1. Click an FAQ or FAQ category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click a category.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over a Q&A.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From Edit Q&A, under Question, type a question in the field.

    7. Under Answer, type an answer in the field.
    8. Click OK.

    Your Q&A changes.

    Under Appears in, click Add to to add your Q&A to a different FAQ category. Click the next to an FAQ category to remove this Q&A from that FAQ Category.
    Clicking Delete removes the Q&A  from your FAQ.

    Duplicating a Q&A

    To duplicate a Q&A:

    1. Click an FAQ or FAQ category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Edit FAQs.
    3. From the left of the FAQ Editor, under All FAQs, click a category.
    4. From the right of the FAQ Editor, roll over a Q&A.

    5. Click Edit.
    6. From the bottom of Edit Q&A, click Make Copy.

    A copy of your Q&A appears under the FAQ category that you are currently in.

  • Updating Your FAQ Settings

    To update your FAQ settings:

    1. Click an FAQ or FAQ category on your site.
    2. From the pop-up, click Settings.
    3. From FAQ, under Choose Layout, click a layout for your FAQ to change its appearance.

    4. Under the Choose Layout section, customize the layout from Step 3.
