    How can I change the colors of my online store?

    You can change the colors and styles of your Online Store by clicking an element within your product gallery, shopping cart or checkout button (for example: click an image or text in your product gallery). Each element that you click will change the menu of the pop-up that opens. Depending on the element that you click, from the pop-up that opens, click Image Style, Gallery Style, Button Style, Table Style or Customize Text.

    From the customization window that opens, update your style options. To design your product page, click your product gallery and then click Design Product Page from the pop-up menu. This will open your product page. Click an element within the product page to open its customization options.

    Can my buyer customize their product?

    You can add product options to your items such as sizes and colors. You can also add a list of options with a drop-down menu and a message box. If you would like your buyers to send more specific details to you, try adding a contact form as well.

    How can I add a message box to my online store products?

    You can add a message box as a product option by first clicking on a product to edit it. Under Options and Inventory, check the box next to I want to add product options like size and color and then click Manage Options. From Product Options, click Add Option and then click Message Box.

     

    How can I change the currency when selling products?

    If you have an Online Store, from the Wix Store Manager, click Payment & Currency. Under Currency, choose a currency from the drop-down menu. For more information about the Wix Online Store, click here.

    Online Store Inventory

    In order to add inventory, please click on your Online Store in the editor -> click "Manage Store" -> click on the relevant product inside the new window -> scroll down to "Options and Inventory" and check the "I want to manage inventory" box.

    A new box will open where you can add the number of items in stock.

    Do I need to manage my inventory manually in Wix?

    The process is automatic. If you use the inventory features in the online store, after someone completes the purchase of a product on your merchant account, the amount is deducted from the total items in your store automatically.

    Can I use a third party payment option with my Online Store?

    Currently you can only use PayPal, Google Checkout or PagSeguro with your Online Store. It's not currently possible to integrate other payment options with your store.

    Does the Wix online store allow for recurring billing for products?

    Currently we don't have any recurring billing options available.

     

    Is it safe for customers to purchase from the Wix online store?

    When using the online store, your personal details and those of your customers are not transferred through the Wix servers at all. Once your customers finish shopping, and click the "Check Out" button, they are immediately transferred to the secure servers of PayPal or Google Checkout and complete their purchase on those sites.

     

    What percentage does Wix take for my online store sales?

    Wix does not take a cent of your sales! To use the online store, the only thing that you need to do is to upgrade your site to eCommerce. For more information about the online store, click here

    Currently the Wix Online Store supports all currencies PayPal supports. This includes: US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Australian Dollars, Russian Rubles and Canadian Dollars.

    Ca​n I use a credit card with PayPal?

    Yes, you can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express with PayPal.
    Plus: when you pay with PayPal, you don't expose your credit card number to merchants.

     

    How do I use my credit or debit card to make a PayPal payment?

    You can select your debit or credit card each time you make a payment:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account and click Send Money at the top of the page.
    2. Enter your payment information and click Continue.
    3. Click Change in the Payment Method section and select your card.
    4. Review your payment and click Send Money.

    Just keep in mind that if you have a balance in your PayPal account, they will use that before your debit or credit card.

    If you don't have a PayPal account, you can enter your debit or credit card information during checkout to complete the payment.

    Why is my custome​r getting an error on the PayPal page when he tries to purchase one of my products?

    Your PayPal profile may be set to only accept payments from encrypted buttons.

    To turn this option off:

    1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com by entering your email address and password in the Account Login box.
    2. Under the My Account tab, click Profile.
    3. In the Profile tab, under Selling Preferences, click Website Payment Preferences.
    4. On the Website Payment Preferences page, under the section Encrypted Website Payments, mark the button next to Off.
    5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

     

    How do I set up my Online Store to accept direct credit card payments from PayPal?

    You can set up your shopping cart to accept direct Visa and Mastercard payments from users without prompting them to sign into their PayPal account. The user would still be directed to a PayPal page, however, they would not be prompted to sign in.

    PayPal have just made some changes to there settings and packages, to allow your buyers to pay by PayPal you need to get a business account.

    How can I get a notification email when someone makes a purchase on my site?

    You can set up your PayPal account to send you notification emails when a customer makes a purchase.

    To receive notification emails from PayPal:

    1. Log into your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com
    2. Under the My Account tab, click Profile.
    3. In the Account Information column, click Notifications.
    4. On the Notifications page, under Payment Notification, checkmark the box next to I receive PayPal Website Payments and Instant Purchase.

    Your account is set up to receive notification emails.

    Please note that this is a premium feature and you will have to upgrade to the eCommerce package to use it.

    Simply add the Wix eCommerce shopping cart ( Add -> Online Store) to your site and when you're ready to sell, upgrade to the Wix eCommerce package.
