    You can now purchase personalized emails from Google Apps directly from Wix!

    Please note that this feature is not yet available for all users- If your domain is connected to Wix via Pointing then you will not be able to purchase a Mailbox for it. To learn how to connect your domain to Wix using the DNS method click here

  • Purchasing a Google Apps Email Account from Wix

    To purchase your Google Apps email account from Wix:

    1. Sign into Wix.com and go to My Account.
    2. From My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Mailboxes.

    3. Under Get a Personalized Email Address, select a domain from the drop-down menu.

    If you do not currently have any domains listed in your Wix Domain Manager, you will not see the drop-down menu mentioned in Step 3. To purchase an email account, you must first purchase a domain and add it to the Wix Domain Manager. For more information about purchasing and setting up a domain, click here.

    If you have already purchased a mailbox for one of your domain names and would like to add additional mailboxes, click here and follow the instructions.

    4. Click Add email.

    5. From the purchase page, select Yearly Plan or Monthly Plan and type the number of mailboxes to purchase next to I need *.
    6. Click Buy Now.
    7. From the payment page, fill in your billing details.
    8. Click Submit Purchase.

    You have purchased a Google Apps email account.

    You will have to set up your email account before you can use it. To set up your email account, click Set-Up Now and follow the set-up instructions below.

    Please note that if you already have a Google Apps account for your domain name, you will not be able to purchase one from Wix. Google does not allow opening two Google Apps accounts for the same domain name.

  • Setting Up Your Google Apps Email Account

    To set up your Google Apps email account:

    1. From the email purchase success page, click Set-Up Now.

    If you have closed the purchase success page, click the Mail Boxes tab from Manage Premium and then click Set-Up next to the relevant email account.

    2. From Step 1: Set-Up Your Personalized Email Address, type a primary email address and password in the fields.

    The primary email address is the mailbox of the administrator of this email account. In addition to an email address, the administrator will have access to the control panel of the Google Apps Email account.

    3. From the list of blank email fields, click a field to add another email address.
    4. Fill in the email and password as well as the first and last names of the user of this email address.
    5. Repeat Step 3 and 4 for the remaining fields.
    6. Click Next.
    7. From Step 2: Confirm contact details, edit or fill in the fields.

    Add your phone number in the following format: 00+ (country code) (city code) (your number)

    8. Click Create Email.

    Your email account is set up.

  • Purchasing Additional Mailboxes

    To purchase additional mailboxes:

    1. From Wix.com, click My Account.
    2. From My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Mailboxes.

    3. From the Mailboxes tab, next to the relevant domain name, click Add More.

    4. From the purchase page, type the number of mailboxes to purchase next to I need *.
    5. Click Buy Now.
    6. From the payment page, fill in your billing details.
    7. Click Submit Purchase.

    You have purchased additional mailboxes.

    To set up your email account, click Set-Up Now and follow the set-up instructions below. If you have previously set up your email account, click Manage from this screen to set up the new mailboxes directly from Google's Control Panel.
    Your new mailboxes will inherit the same renewal date as your original email account purchase. Any overlapping months will appear as discounted on your payment page.

  • Signing into Your Google Apps Email

    To sign into your Google Apps email:

    1. From Wix.com, click My Account.
    2. From My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Mailboxes.

    3. From the Mailboxes tab, next to the relevant domain name, under Mail Options, click Manage.
    4. From Mailboxes Summary, under Options, click Go to my email inbox and sign into your email.

    Your Google Apps email inbox opens.

    Please note: If you already have a Google Apps account or a Gmail account, you will be asked by default to login to that account. In this case:

    1. Click on Sign in with a different account.

    2. Click Add Account.

     

    3. Insert your full admin username- user@domain.com .

    You can also sign into your inbox by simply going to gmail.com and typing your entire Google Apps email, that includes @mydomain.com, and your password.

  • Managing Your Google Apps Account

    To manage your Google Apps account:

    1. From Wix.com, click My Account.
    2. From My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Mailboxes.

    3. From the Mail Boxes tab, next to the relevant domain name, under Mail Options, click Manage.
    4. From Mail Boxes Summary, under Options, click Go to Google control panel and sign into your account.

  • Cancelling Your Email Account Subscription

    Important: After cancelling an email account subscription, your email account will remain active until the next renewal date. After the renewal date, all mailboxes related to the email account will be cancelled and all data in the email account will be deleted with no option for retrieval or restoration of the data.

    To cancel your email account subscription:

    1. Sign into Wix.com.
    2. Click My Account.
    3. Under My Account, next to Manage Premium, click Billing and Payment.
    4. From Billing and Payment, next to your email account subscription, click Manage.
    5. Next to Next payment, click Cancel.
    6. Follow the steps in the pop-up that opens.

    Your email account subscription is cancelled.

    Note that email account subscriptions cannot be refunded.
